• The Foster Network can assist children currently in the foster care system with the ability to participate in spots, activities, or cultural events.

    Criteria for applying for a scholarship are:

    Children in foster care are eligible if they are in long term care.

    The child or family requesting funds, must approach the merchant and ask for a reduction in the cost of the activity, fee, or item associated with the request.

    There are no other programs through the state or locally that would pay for the cost associated with the request.

  • Furniture is available that we lend to foster families to help with the diversity that foster care can bring. We lend out these items so that foster families can take in sibling groups, older or younger children, a little easier, knowing there is help with some of these items.

    Some items are kept on hand, and some are purchased pending need. Some items that can be requested are:

    Dressers

    Bunk Beds

    Toddler Beds

    Cribs

  • We know that Christmas can be a stressful time for children in foster care. Our Christmas program provides support to the foster family as a whole. Families can fill out wish list forms for child living in their home. Our goal is to help remove some of the stress and worries that come along with Christmas allowing the families to focus on helping the children in their home through the holiday season.

    The application for this program will open in Oct 2024.

  • Charlotte’s Dream is a small program hosted by a local family. This program helps provide food to local foster and adoptive families. If you are interested in participating in this program please complete the form below.
