Scholarship & Wish Support

Children and caregivers connected to The Foster Network may be eligible for support related to sports, extracurricular activities, and other enriching experiences.

Before submitting a request, families should first explore discounts, reduced rates, and any other available local or state funding sources.

When additional support is still needed, The Foster Network may help submit eligible requests through One Simple Wish, which connects specific needs with donors who choose to fulfill them.

For additional opportunities and community resources, families are encouraged to review The Foster Network Resource Page.

Before submitting a request, families should first:

  • Ask the provider or merchant about reduced rates or discounts

  • Confirm that no other local or state funding source is available

BEDROOM FURNITURE ASSISTANCE

The Foster Network helps connect families with bedroom furniture support when a new placement, changing household needs, or sibling group placement creates an immediate need. Depending on availability, support may come through donated inventory, community partnerships, or approved purchases.

Common requests may include dressers, bunk beds, toddler beds, and cribs. Items purchased before approval may not be reimbursed.

If you need help, please complete the assistance request form so our team can review the need and next steps.

HOLIDAY SUPPORT

During the holiday season, The Foster Network helps support children and caregivers through community generosity and targeted giving opportunities. Program details, application timelines, and ways to help are shared each fall.

Our goal is to reduce some of the financial and emotional stress that can come with the season so families can focus on the children in their care.

The application for this program is now closed for 2025 and will reopen in October 2026.
